Safety Troop’s session was an eye opener to many unknown terms and facts. And as discussed the numbers are indeed scary, and what is even more scary is the fact that these things may happen right under our nose without our knowledge. Owing to privacy, we often end up giving kids a private space with the online classes, i.e when they are 2 kids, like in my case. So most of the time, we end up being with the younger kid and left the elder ones unsupervised. Hence an awareness session was much helpful.

If you are someone who loves sharing images birthdays party pictures and anything and everything regarding your kid on social media please do tune into this and listen to what they have to say for the safety of your kids because you might be saved from making a grave mistake. While most of us take great pride in sharing some cherished moments of our children on our social media , I feel we also unintentionally give out some critical information that might be used against us or our children . For instance , we all love posting our kid’s birthday photos and we all do it on that specific day and this way we are giving out an important/ critical data about our child, Also frequently sharing information as what your child’s likes/ dislikes , his / her hobbies /activities , or in my opinion almost any piece of information about the child only helps the predator to equip himself/ herself to gain the confidentiality of the child. Glad to see such initiatives like Safety Troop.
